Children's Virtues Classes

This neighborhood weekly class emphasizes the acquisition of spiritual qualities—for example, truthfulness, generosity, purity of heart, and kindness, to name a few—which are considered attributes of God that are reflected in the mirror of the human heart. Youth ages 15+ are trained to facilitate the class with adult supervision. The children respond wholeheartedly to these dynamic youth who sing, craft, tell stories, and play games with kids based on the spiritual theme that week.

Junior Youth
Spiritual Empowerment Program

Worldwide, junior youth are participating in an endeavor that strives to give them a voice in today’s society. These junior youth groups are enhancing their power of expression, sharpening their spiritual perception and allowing them to analyze the constructive and destructive forces of society.

The participants of this group are junior youth between the ages of 12 and 15. This is a crucial period of a junior youth’s life as their consciousness is expanding and, day by day, they are becoming increasingly exposed to the forces of society.

Spiritual Study Circle

Study Material: Reflections on the Life of the Spirit (Baha’i Ruhi Book 1 - provided to participants), plus interfaith scriptures and inspirational writings.
Why you might enjoy this study circle: This book is the first in a series produced by the Bahai Faith delving into important spiritual concepts contained in the teachings of Baha’u’llah.

In our study, we will broaden the material to include Holy Writings from all of the major Faiths and explore these concepts from multiple perspectives; an Interfaith exploration. In this study, we will explore how reading the Holy Writings on a daily basis gives us strength and comfort; the power of Prayer in our personal lives and in support of others; and finally, the deeper meanings of life and what all Faiths tell us about life after death. The conversations tend to explore the very basic questions of our human experience; Why are we here; What is our purpose; and How can we live fulfilling lives?

About us

Bahá’ís believe the crucial need facing humanity is to find a unifying vision of the future of society and of the nature and purpose of life. Such a vision unfolds in the writings of Bahá’u’lláh.
